Well here is the official advertising and marketing department’s release, see photo that went into my Gmail. The date is set for 18th September, and just days after the long expected holiday in AirAsia’s home base of Malaysia. There is Malaysia Day on 16th (Sunday) and thus Monday is officially a public holiday.
Things to do to snag the best deals:
- Plan ahead, think of the places you will want to visit and the dates.
- Check visa requirements. I’ve written to AirAsia about having a dedicated page to address all uncertainties regarding visa, application, cost, embassies, address, contact, public holidays that surely will be a superb one stop page (and keeping potential users and customers within AirAsia’s pages). It is questions that we think we know but cannot be sure. For instance, Japan requires a strict visa application. Australia has a online epayment system for visa application. South Korea is the best. No visa required PLUS it is a whopping 3 months stay – PLUS given gratis to you. No visa fee. Most Asean countries allow a maximum of 30 days entry free, and 60 days upon application of some tourist visa and a fee.
- Check your credit card and debit card limits and credits. Check More >
