Our website ArtofYourMind fully support micro financing system called Kiva.org which gives a chance for those to startup their own micro project. To those living in the developed nations, these may seem trivial. But projects like mending shoes, renting out bicycles, raising pigs, planting casava, buying sewing machines, selling stationary, selling flowers, selling fruits, mending fishing nets, buying plastic buckets, that finally could prove the stepping stone towards a self-fulfilling job is something amazing to people who have not much to begin with. And therefore instead of plain old charity – handouts – Kiva‘s system is about helping them start their project with $25 USD of our funding. When the project has taken off, that sum of money is returned to us.
This is far better than the one-way system charity advocates. Far beats the system by UN departments such as UNHCR, UNESCO, USAID, which all seems to have very low effect on the recipients – most of the donations are ironically gone to those contractors or Master’s degree developed nation candidates who now sit happily in 5000 EUR salary in the third world resident country, planning out white paper projects in their air-conditioned rooms and ticking “success”. Here is my webpage to summarise what I am writing about in my rockethub project.

I imagined like what Einstein recommended, “Imagination Is More Important Than Knowledge” but to friends, I was day-dreaming!
But I kept a record of my imagination. One of it is a strange formula, that I derived and devised from simply testing and testing sets of numbers and getting it down to a simplification. It performs a very neat “maths trick”, that’s it, what my friends said. It is like a magic trick. Last year when I got home and trying to discard old stuff, I found my (g)old journal.
This time I told myself, as what my current art life is “Life Is The Art Of Drawing Without An Eraser, Draw Freely Upon Your Imagination”. “When you draw freely upon your imagination, you create the art of your mind”. Well that last one is the theme or motto of my art website that I have been running for several years. More >
These are some photos of Danang city, in central Vietnam. Immaculately planned city that boost 2 beaches within a 5 km range, airport (3 km range therefore walking distance!), superb waterfront walk way, 200 odd coffee shops (cafe, ca phe), Mi Quang, Bun Thit Nuong, super high speed internet in all hotels (by local by-laws!), 40 minutes to UNESCO World Heritage Site Hoi An, and 2 hours to Hue the ancient citadel city. Two overlooking mountain ranges that is acclaimed as one of the best ocean view rides ever by Jeremy Clarkson of BBC Top Gear fame. Hai Van Pass. And Son Tra Peninsula. Unbelievable. Just 20-30 minutes and at this peninsula the climate is wintry cold in the top of the hills/mountains.

AirAsia may provide the logical budget and low cost carrier option to Korea. But with increase demand, the lower-price tiered seats are often booked months ahead. So the other option is to opt for a full service carrier. What is the cost? Here is the best price for MAS (Malaysia Airlines or MH) that I searched for recently. 1854 MYR. For a return trip to Seoul, with 20kg of check-in luggage, cabin meals included.
MH comparison of airfare to Korea
AirAsiaX (D7) meanwhile offers close to 1200 to 1500 MYR for the return fare only (without the optional check-in luggage nor meals). Check-in luggage that weighs 20kg cost 90 MYR. Therefore tabbing in an additonal 200 MYR to the fare it is almost the same with MAS.
